Our School council consists of two representatives from years 2 to 6 who meet with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher regularly. Children who express an interest in the role are elected by their peers to represent the views of all pupils. Our School Council support the whole school in making many decisions which help to make our school a better place. Pupil voice is very important to us and we value our pupil's opinions; it is their school.
Our council have supported us in spending grant money, planning PTA events, setting up lunchtime clubs, monitoring teaching and learning, organising charity days and representing the school at community events. The children have fantastic ideas and are often seen around the school with their clipboards to gain ideas and opinions from all children.
