Safeguarding

no bckgrnd.png

At Pembroke Primary the safeguarding of all children is paramount to what we do. Safeguarding is the responsibility of our whole school team and we thrive to ensure that all our pupils are happy and safe. All staff, volunteers and frequent visitors to site have received safeguarding training that supports them to recognise and respond to any welfare concerns, we recognise this as essential for keeping all of our young people safe.

Our designated person for Child Protection is Mrs Wakley (Headteacher), and the Deputy designated people are; James Shields, Laura Mellens (Assisstant Headteachers) and Julia Carpenter (Lead Teacher of our Additional Learning Centre). Our Governor in charge of Child Protection is Mr Peter Nurse.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding policy can be found in the School Policies section on this website.

Operation Encompass

Pembroke Primary School is part of Operation Encompass which is an initiative between the Metropolitan Police, parents and school. If there was an incident involving your children and the Police are in attendance then the school would be informed.
